• Action requested is to approve payment of the bills in the amount of $1,182,412.36

7. Petitions for Driveway Variation

a) The petitioners, Dennis and Karen Portell, are requesting relief from Section 19.15.B3, Driveways and Private Parking Lots, to widen the driveway pursuant to the submitted petition. Subject property is located at 602 N. 1st St. Action requested is to approve or deny the petition.

b) The petitioner, Sherry Briggs, is requesting relief from Section 19.15.B3, Driveways and Private Parking Lots, to widen the driveway pursuant to the submitted petition. Subject property is located at 707 Casey Ln. Action requested is to approve or deny the petition.

8. Special Event Liquor License Application

• The Harvard Chamber of Commerce is requesting a Special Event Liquor License for September 7th– 11th, 2022 at Milky Way Park during the American Veterans Traveling Tribute. The fees have been paid. Action requested is to approve or deny the request pending submission of dram shop insurance.

9. IDOT Resolution for Maintenance & Sidewalk Project Bid

• The bid opening for the Page/Eastman/Park/Washington Streets Sidewalk Project is scheduled for September 13, 2022. Action requested is to approve the IDOT Resolution for Maintenance

and to authorize the Mayor to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder and execute all necessary contract documents.

10. Proposed Ordinance Providing for and Requiring the Submission of the Proposition of a Municipal Sales Tax in the City of Harvard, McHenry County, Illinois at the Consolidated Election to be held April 4, 2023

• Pursuant to the Transportation Committee’s recommendation, action requested is to adopt the proposed ordinance as presented.
