Department Update

A. BOPC Police Recruit Testing/Hiring

Written and POWER Testing happened August 13, 2022. Had 35 applications, 11 attended, 8 passed written. September 10, 2022, 8 candidates interviewed, 3 passed the oral interviews. All candidates have been contacted, the 3 that passed have been placed on the initial Eligibility list, and asked if they want to apply preference points within 10 days. 1 of the 3 still needs POWER card.

Application issue: two different applications were used, a General City Employee Application and a Police Specific Application. HR has corrected the issue.
