Q4 2022 Recap: 1 parolee from McHenry County convicted of crimes involving alcohol set for release

There was one offender convicted of a crime involving alcohol living in McHenry County released on parole during the fourth quarter of 2022, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the McHenry Times.

The data shows the released offender was a man. He was convicted in 2022 when he was 45 years old. He is now 46.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
