Village of Johnsburg President and Board of Trustees met Oct. 26.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

President Hettermann called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Village Hall.

OMNIBUS AGENDA – Trustee Morris moved to approve the Omnibus Agenda. Trustee Foreman seconded the motion.

Trustee Fouke requested the removal of the American Eagle payment from the Disbursements. All Trustees voted aye on

the roll. Motion carried.

 Move to approve the minutes of October 3, 2023 Regular Meeting of the President and Board of Trustees.

 Move to approve a Resolution in Support of the McHenry County Natural Hazards Mitigation Plan.

 Disbursements

 General Fund $146,174.59

 MFT

 Waterworks & Sewage Fund $ 27,850.90

 Golf Course Fund $ 209.96

 Land and Building

 Debt Service/SSA Fund $ 7,127.50

 Total All Funds $181,362.95

AMERICAN EAGLE - Trustee Hagen moved to approve the payment to American Eagle. Trustee Fouke seconded the motion. Trustee Fouke expressed concern that the amount invoiced was excessive for their remote participation in a recent meeting. Trustee Hagen explained that they charged double hours because it was after hours and added that he donated for their attendance at the meeting. President Hettermann expressed that it was not necessary for Trustee Hagen to personally pay for their attendance. Trustee Hagen asked that his payment alternatively be used as a donation for the Celebration in the Park event. President Hettermann thanked Trustee Hagen for his contribution and expressed disappointment with American Eagle’s participation in the meeting. All Trustees voted aye on the roll. Motion carried.

PRESIDENT’S REPORT - President Hettermann recommended the appointment of David Wisniarski to the Community Affairs Committee. All Trustees expressed support for the appointment.

ADJOURNMENT – Trustee Fouke moved to adjourn the meeting. Trustee Morris seconded the motion. All Trustees voted aye. Motion to adjourn was carried at 7:12 p.m.
