Cary Community Consolidated School District 26 recently issued the following announcement.
Cary School District 26 is committed to the security and safety of our students and staff.
This coming year the district will be implementing the Raptor Visitor and Volunteer Management System at each school.
This is a widely used system that will enhance the district’s ability to identify visitors to our schools and enhance our ability to more efficiently approve and monitor our volunteers.
This automated system will allow school office staff to confirm that visitors are who they say they are by using government-issued identification.
It will also instantly check names against registered sex offender lists and alerts related to issues like child custody or court orders.
It will also provide an online system for school volunteers to fill out our volunteer form for quick and easy approval.
The Raptor Visitor and Volunteer Management System will add one more line of security at our schools to keep our students and staff safe.
When visiting our buildings this coming year, please remember to bring a government-issued identification card.
Parents, please log into Infinite Campus to fill out the Raptor Volunteer Portal form.
