Cary Community Consolidated School District 26 recently issued the following announcement.
Gordon Korman, a #1 New York Times bestselling author, is visiting Cary!
Over the summer, Cary Junior High students read Restart as a one book one school summer read. Since returning to school, students have participated in various Restart activities and discussions in each of their classes. As a culminating celebration, Gordon Korman will share his story with students from Cary Junior High, Deerpath, Briargate, and Three Oaks.
On Tuesday September 18th, Gordon will present at Three Oaks from 9:00-10:00 AM and Briargate from 2:15-3:15 PM.
On Wednesday September 19th, he will present at Cary Junior High from 8:00-9:00 AM and at Deerpath from 9:30-10:30 AM.
The students and staff of Cary 26 are excited to hear this award-winning author's story!
