Harvard Community Unit School District 50 issued the following announcement on Sept. 18.

Starting in October, Harvard CUSD 50 will offer free weekly beginner and intermediate Spanish classes. The language classes are open to everyone in the community. Beginner classes will be every Monday and intermediate classes every Tuesday.

• The first beginner class is Monday, October 15 from 4-5 p.m.
• The first intermediate class is Tuesday, October 2 from 4-5 p.m.

The classes will be located at Harvard Junior High School at 1301 Garfield Road, Harvard, IL 60033. For more information contact Gisela Sande at gsande@cusd50.org.
