Funddin2

Cary Community Consolidated School District 26 recently issued the following announcement.

D26 to Partner with Cary-Grove Food Pantry as Drop-off Locations

Cary School District 26 is partnering with the Cary-Grove Food Pantry to help sustain the supply of food and personal hygiene products during this challenging time in our community. The C-G Food Pantry serves residents of Cary, Oakwood Hills, and Fox River Grove. This is an essential service in our community that we must continue to support and provide donations. D26 will be accepting food pantry donations during its grab-and-go lunch service at the following times and locations each week.

Every Monday and Thursday from 9:00-11:00 am:

·  Oak Knoll Early Childhood Center, 409 N. First Street, Cary

·  Three Oaks School, 1514 Three Oaks Road, Cary

We ask that you put your donations in a box or bag and place it in your trunk. At the drop-off site, remain in your car, pop your trunk lid or back hatch. Volunteers will retrieve the donation and shut your trunk lid/hatch.

Items needed for the food pantry:

·        Canned food and packaged food

·        Hot and cold cereals

·        Paper products

·        Toiletries and personal hygiene products

·        Laundry and cleaning supplies

*Please check the expiration date of all food items. Expired food will not be accepted.

Let’s continue to work together to meet the essential needs of our neighbors and community members.
