Report: Woodstock School District spent $14,813 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Woodstock Community Unit School District 200 was up 19.5 percent from five years ago, according to the McHenry Times analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Mchenry County school district spent $12,400 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $14,813 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 6,400 to 6,322 students over the same period.

Woodstock's spending in 2019-20 was 2.2 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
