Community High School District 155 issued the following announcement on Nov. 13.
The Parent Survey is a list of skills, abilities, and activities that may be taught in a STRIVE classroom or at a STRIVE internship site.
Please use this as a guide to determine whether your student would benefit from focused instruction in these areas.
This tool is meant to help students and families identify whether additional instruction in functional academics, independent living skills, and vocational skills might be appropriate.
It is not meant to be an all inclusive list, nor is it a specific curriculum.
We hope this helps families to better understand the types of skills taught in the STRIVE Transition Program.
