Harvard Community Unit School District 50 issued the following announcement on Aug. 9.
A big thank you to Harvard resident Jodi Schlendorf and her employer Rust-Oleum. Schlendorf delivered over 50 backpacks full of school supplies to Crosby Elementary School on Friday thanks to a donation from Rust-Oleum.
The support of the community is vital to student success in our schools. The children of District 50 are the children of Harvard.
We are grateful for all the love and kindness shared with our community.
