Harvard Community Unit School District 50 issued the following announcement on May 18.
Hello, everyone!
As we come to the end of the year we need to provide a time for everyone to clean out their lockers, return books, get PE uniforms, return athletic equipment, and much more. Below you will see the final date and time to come into the building for check out. We will have directional signs and staff in the building to assist you.
The safety and health of our students is our number one priority which is reflected in how we will organize our process for checkout. If you’re sick, don’t come in. We will make alternate arrangements. We ask that you wear some form of a mask to cover your nose and mouth – i.e. a scarf, bandana, headband, etc.
We will have two separate entrances, one for the girls and one for the boys due to the location of locker rooms. Girls will enter through door #10 (by the greenhouse) and boys will enter through door #19 (South Gym entrance) Park in the faculty lot.
Final checkout date and times:
Thursday, May 21, 2020, from 5 pm – 8 pm
Please return to the high school any:
- Library Books and materials.
- Textbooks, classroom reading books, other classroom materials.
- Athletic equipment and uniforms.
- Band/Chorus/Art
- Instruments / Music
- Uniforms
- Art Supplies
- Calculators
- Personal items in your locker.
- Return Locks and tags.
- Items in your gym locker and your gym locker padlock.
Please plan carefully so you only have to make one trip. Please use the checklists to help you remember all the items which need to be returned and picked up. Any student lockers that are not checked out will have their belongings bagged up with their name on it for a later pickup time once school is done for the year.
We know this isn’t what we planned for the end of the year however we hope to make this as easy as possible to collect your items safely.
