Alden Hebron School District 19 issued the following announcement on Apr 20.
The Illinois State Scholar Program recognizes students for outstanding academic achievement. Illinois State Scholars represent approximately the top ten percent of high school seniors from 757 high schools across the state. State Scholars possess strong academic potential and are chosen based on a combination of exemplary SAT test scores and sixth semester class rank.
Alden-Hebron High School, the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC), and the State of Illinois are pleased to recognize Karly Strand and Caroline Norton who have been named as 2021-22 State Scholars for their outstanding academic achievement.
