Report: Alden Hebron School District spent $14,614 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Alden Hebron School District 19 was up 29.7 percent from five years ago, according to the McHenry Times analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Mchenry County school district spent $11,265 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $14,614 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 425 to 410 students over the same period.

Alden Hebron's spending in 2019-20 was 0.8 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
