Report: Fox River Grove spent $12,934 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Fox River Grove School District 3 is up 12.2 percent from five years ago, according to a McHenry Times analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Mchenry County school district spent $11,527 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $12,934 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 512 to 416.

Fox River Grove's spending in 2017-18 was 3 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
