Hultgren co-sponsors Global Food Security Act

Randy Hultgren (R-Dist. 14), a member of the Executive Committee of the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission, said on Friday that he is co-sponsoring the Global Food Security Act of 2015 (H.R. 1567) to reduce global hunger and poverty by improving food security and nutrition, especially for women and children in developing countries.

President Obama signed a bill into law late last week, co-sponsored by U.S. Rep. Randy Hultgren (R-Dist. 14), that adjusts certain provisions of the Affordable Care Act to favor mid-size businesses. The Protecting Affordable Coverage for Employees (PACE) Act keeps the threshold for “small group” companies to 50 employees or less, instead of forcing businesses with 51-100 employees into the small-group market in 2016.
